Due to the recent storm, we have rescheduled the early dismissal originally planned for professional development. The new date for the early out is Tuesday, December 3rd.
On this day, students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM to allow time for teacher professional development. Please adjust your schedules accordingly, and thank you for your flexibility and understanding. The after-school program will still be offered during the professional development.

On Oct. 7 at 12:30 pm in the Westhope Commons, JIm Upgren from ND DPI will be on campus to visit with students and parents regarding the ND Choice Ready Program and to provide information about the ND Scholarships. This is a great opportunity to learn more about both programs and opportunities available to our students.

This note is an invitation to join us on September 11th at 6:00 pm in the Westhope Commons for our annual Truth in Taxation Meeting. A free roast beef supper will be served with the meeting to follow at 6:30 pm.
We are seeking community feedback concerning our 24-25 tax levy because of the unique challenges that could be coming with the Property Tax Elimination Initiated Measure on the November ballot. The District is considering a defensive taxation position to be prepared if the measure passes or fails. Your feedback as a Taxpayer in our district is critical for the School Board to make a final taxation plan for the 2024-2025 School Year.

Here is the 2024 WN Pee Wee Boys Basketball Schedule for grades 4-6. All basketball players must have their physicals completed by the time basketball practice starts.

Amira is here for summer learning! Use Amira at home through July 31 to continue the progress your child has made in reading this school year. Amira's reading goal is 10 minutes 3 times a week for 30 minutes total. Login information will be provided by classroom teachers. Happy Reading with Amira this summer!
We are very excited for our first-ever HS Gallery Night at Westhope Public School! Please join us Wednesday evening in celebrating our students' learning and more! The gallery night starts at 5:00 PM. A meal will be served from 5:00-6:00.

Westhope Public School's Final Early Out PD day will be May 2nd. The students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM with buses running at that time. We will provide childcare for those necessary at 1:00 PM but all students must be picked up by 3:15 PM since the afterschool program has ended for the year.

The KHRT Radio Graduate Interviews will begin on May 1st and run through May 31st, 2024. Westhope has two seniors that participated, both Miranda Kveum and Morgan LeMay.
